HOW DO I PLAY GAMES?

You can reserve seats online prior to doors opening on 10/14/22.  Instructions are here: (link coming)

When you arrive at G.A.M.E. EXPO you can head for the Gaming HQ table located in middle of the west wall (to your left if you are facing the bathrooms).   At the Gaming HQ table you will find print outs of all prescheduled games AND any new pick-up games generated during the weekend.  You can review the description of the games, check the times, etc. and then let staff know that you want to sign-up.

Do check in at the Gaming HQ table for any last-minute changes to the table assignments.  Don’t be late to your game and don’t be too early.  There might be another game at your same table that is winding down.  Just be courteous and thoughtful and we will all HAVE FUN!

All our games are FREE TO PLAY unless otherwise noted on the write-up by the Gamemaster.  There have been some tournament games (Magic the Gathering) in the past that had a entry cost, but Gaming HQ will clarify this.

WHERE IS MY BADGE?

When you arrive at G.A.M.E. EXPO the first thing you will see is our Registration and Welcome Desks.  Each individual will have to stop here and either register at the door or pick up your badge if you pre-purchased before October 7th.  Please present your proof of purchase (printed page or screen on your smartphone) we might also ask for an ID to prove who you are and we will give you YOUR badge.  Each and every INDIVIDUAL will pick up the badges THEY PURCHASED.  You cannot grab your friends badge unless you have their ticket.  Period.

 

WHAT NAME(S) WILL BE ON MY BADGE(S)?

Badges purchased online will have the First and Last name of the purchaser’s profile on them. If multiple badges were purchased then we will make our best attempt to number the badges.   Example:  Joe Smith, then Smith 1, and Smith 2 — or — Business/Org Name 1, Business/Org Name 2.

In the past we had “cosplay names” on badges, but this complicates registration and slows down our processes. If you want different names on your badges, we will do that upon request. You can make this request at the front desk, and then allow us time to get your badge made. Head on into the event, and check back later with a reasonable amount of time for our staff to get that done for you. Thanks.

WHY AM I GETTING A WRISTBAND?

We are making this last year, as easy as possible.  We have less volunteers and less staff than previous years, and making our work as efficient as possible.  When you pay at the door, $10 per person, you will get a wristband to allow you to go on in and enjoy the event right away. 

If you are attending just ONE DAY, a wristband is an easy quick solution to getting you in the door and having fun right away.

If you want a badge with your name on it, provided we have the supplies, you can request one to be made.  We will put you on the list and get badges made as time allows.  Check back later in an hour or two.  We will work on making your badge and we appreciate your patience with this process.

WHAT TIME DOES X START?

We get lots of questions about what time does the convention start, shut down, when can we get in to set-up our booth, etc.

WILL THERE BE FOOD?

UPDATE 10/12/22: The Sprinfield Expo Center will have a snack bar!  It will be located in our space to the left of Gaming HQ! Not sure of their menu or prices, but you will find out when we do! Huuzaaah!!!

DO YOU TAKE CARDS OR CASH ONLY?

We will be able to process all credit and debit cards and take cash for admissions at the front door!  For individual vendors you will have to check what payment forms they accept.  To get in the door, Eclectic Endeavors will have cash registers and Square card readers.

WHERE DO I PARK?

You can find several places to park.  At the hotel lot across the street or in the parking structure east of the Expo Center.

WHILE LOADING AND UNLOADING — you can park in front of the Expo Center — but you will need to move your car IMMEDIATELY AFTER THIS.  More than 15 minutes and you could get ticketed or towed if your car is unattended more than 15 minutes.
