“Can I buy a weekend pass, or just a Friday pass, or just a Saturday pass?” –– YES, YES, YES
We have shut down online sales so we can go ahead and prepare badges, and everything thing else before the doors open on Friday. Starting at 10AM on Friday you can buy passes at the door. Everyone is welcome! See you there!
We have an APP! This will help you look at events, panels, games, get tickets, register for games, get reminders of panels, see a map of the room, check on your volunteer shifts, look up our Guest of Honor, just … SO MUCH! Download it today. Look for “Gather App” by Utah Media where you get your apps.
If you have not purchased additional badges, the deadline has been extended. It was 9/1/18, but we’ve got a lot going on right now and that passed, so it will be extended. You have until Friday 9/7/18. At that time Additional Exhibitor Badges will not be available and you will need to purchase a full-price $30 Weekend Pass for any additional people connected to your Exhibitors space.
If you’ve ever attended G.A.M.E. EXPO before you know that you head to Gaming HQ and look for available games and sign up. You will STILL be able to do that AT our event, but now you can ALSO register ahead of the event opening on Friday.
Go to the Gaming Schedule on our website and you will find yourself on the GrowTix page for G.A.M.E. EXPO. On this page, you’ll see the 3 schedule days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), and all the games as they start to be submitted by Gamemasters. Games appear once they are approved and assigned to a table.
When you see a game and click on VIEW button, you’ll see the [REGISTER FOR THIS GAME] button on the pop-up screen. Pre-Registering before the doors open on Friday, will guarantee you get a spot at the games you want to play.
You can get into G.A.M.E. Year 10 for FREE when you pre-schedule games! Without your help in running games, we would not have a gaming convention. As our way of saying “Thanks” we offer GMs free entry!
To qualify for a Game Master Badge you must pre-schedule 40 player hours of games. This process is explained below in the steps outlined.
Starting with Year 10 we are focusing on PLAYER HOURS as the benchmark for a free GM Badge. Player hours represent the amount of players at your game by the length of the game planned. This first year we will focus on what is PLANNED to happen, in years to come as we track this system, the results of actual hours played will be used to reimburse GMs or award next year’s badge. This will mostly apply to new untested GMs. Those of you who’ve been with us previously, will continue to earn a free badge by scheduling the minimal hours.
GM Registration Deadline is September 21, 2018. We will be finalizing schedules and getting programs printed. Any gaming opportunities after this date will be “pick-up games” during the 3 days of G.A.M.E. Pick-up games do not qualify for a free GM badge.
